This is a different type of problem. Here the idea is to
explore rather than work a problem. You will see that there are not a lot of
numbers, but that is ok. Sometimes in math the most interesting problems do not
always use lots of numbers. Attach to this paper all math work that you do.
Written answers must be in complete sentences and use correct grammar. Make
sure you fully explain when you write.

1. Draw the next two figures in the pattern.

2. Describe what happens to the area and the perimeter when
the number of steps changes. Remember to show all the math work that you do.
3. Describe the relationship between the number of steps and
the number of right angles.
4. Find and describe one (1) more pattern that you see.
