The stairs problem

This is a different type of problem. Here the idea is to explore rather than work a problem. You will see that there are not a lot of numbers, but that is ok. Sometimes in math the most interesting problems do not always use lots of numbers. Attach to this paper all math work that you do. Written answers must be in complete sentences and use correct grammar. Make sure you fully explain when you write.
